Lady Gaga avoid eccentricity in new music video for “Edge of Glory”
The video for the song “Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga can be seen on the web.
Lady Gaga has accustomed us to extravagant choreography, stunning costumes, elaborate scenarios clips. However, her latest clip is a rather simple one, lacking eccentricity.
The clip lasts almost seven minutes. It shows the singer walking down a street at night under pink lights and she’s also seen dances on a balcony and on an emergency staircase.
The lighting, the decor, atmosphere and also the room evoke the 80′s. It contains no religious references or tons of dancers and extras.
Saxophonist Clarence Clemons (E Street Band) appears in the clip. This weekend, the musician suffered a heart attack.
According to the singer’s Twitter page, the music video was directed by the Haus of Gaga and features fashion by Gianni Versace.
The video premiered on American television on Thursday night.

The Edge Of Glory video is really stripped back compared to Gaga’s other videos. Well i suppose this is what happens when you lose a loved one like your Grandfather!!!!!!! in terms of keeping it simple and showing respect!!!!!! Edge Of Glory is about Gaga’s grandpa germanotta that died last year…. http://bit.ly/kYuM1C
