Marie Osmond checks into hospital after being diagnosed with bronchitis
The singer was admitted to hospital on Wednesday after suffering vocal chord problems while on stage with brother Donny in Las Vegas.

The Daily Mail reports that Osmond began losing her voice while she was performing at a Las Vegas variety show.
According to People, the singer’s voice began to sound hoarse and strained during the show.
Osmond, 52, was diagnosed with a bad case of bronchitis and was released after two hours at the hospital.
“So the allergies went into a bronchitis,” she Tweeted Thursday. “Didn’t realize it until I went to hit the high notes last night on stage. Pie Jesu was kinda P-U.”
According to the Las Vegas Sun, Osmond was set to perform again on Thursday evening and no dates for her and her brother’s show have been canceled.
