MTV Europe Music Awards 2011: and the winners are…

Lady GaGa, who donned an extravagant outfit, was the favorite of the evening with six nominations and she walked away with four trophies. Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, 30 Seconds to Mars have won two awards.

The evening was hosted by Selena Gomez live from the Odyssey Arena in Belfast and featured incredible live performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Jessie J.

A tribute to Amy Winehouse with testimonials from anonymous mixed with clips of the singer was performed by Jessie J. The group Queen, who received the Global Icon award, ignited the Irish public at the end of the event. Adam Lambert joined them for a rendition of the group’s legendary songs Show Must Go On, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions.
