Nick Lachey says his wedding is all about the bride
Nick Lachey recently talked about his upcoming wedding and how everything will revolve around his bride, Vanessa Minnillo.
“I want it to be about her,” Lachey told People. “Any guy will tell you that it’s probably more about the bride than the groom. It’s just about celebrating your love for each other.”
Lachey and Minnillo first met while filming a music video for his song “What’s Left of Me.”
“She’s my soulmate in every way,” he confesses. “She gets me, I get her. We enjoy a lot of the same things and we enjoy each other’s company.”
Indeed, the two like being together as they plan to visit the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for charity and spend time with Lachey’s brother, Drew, and his family.
“It’s great being an uncle,” Nick said about his brother’s kids. “Vanessa and I try to spoil them every chance we get!”
Regarding the subject of having kids of his own, the 37-year-old singer said: “I’m pushing 40 here, so the time is probably imminent. Everything happens in the right time and for now, it’s good training to be an uncle. Hopefully mine will turn out as good as [Drew's]!”
