The 13-year-old opened up about her film career but she also remembered her late father on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

In a preview of the show, Michael Jackson’s daughter explains that her desire to make films comes from her dad.

“My dad was in the movie Moonwalker, and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him,’ ” said Paris, who has a role in the fantasy movie Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys.

“We would do improv together,” she added. “He would give us little scenarios. He would go, ‘Okay, in this scene you’re going to cry,’ and I’d cry on the spot.”

Asked what is the most memorable thing her father ever told her, Paris gave a prompt answer.

“He said, ‘If I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you.’ I took his advice, and I remembered everything he told me,” she said.

Paris also opened up about how the King of Pop raised her and her two brothers Prince and Blanket, touching on the subject of the masks they would often wear in public.

“I’m like, ‘This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?’ ” she said. “But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us. And he’d explain that to us, too.”

It seems Jackson succeeded in his mission, since the girl had a very normal childhood.

“I’m treated the same,” she said. “When I came to [her school], they didn’t know who I was. I was like, yes, I have a chance to be normal.”

Here is an excerpt from the interview which airs Thursday.
