Paula Abdul made a 911 call on Valentine’s Day, stating that her boyfriend refused to let her out of the car as he was driving.

According to TMZ, who obtained a copy of the recording, it’s a completely hysterical Paula Abdul that called the emergency that day.

In tears, the American singer said to be held prisoner by her boyfriend in his car.

“I wanna go, and he won’t let me!” the star cries on the phone.

“Are you gonna drop me off ’cause I have emergency on the phone,” can be heard soon after. Eventually the man left her out of the vehicle as she says, “He’s dropping me off.”

When officers contacted Paula she said it was just a verbal dispute.

A spokesperson for Abdul said, “Arguments with loved ones are often times heated. After the call was made everything was worked out.”
