Shakira denies rumors of separation due to Gerard Piqué’s infidelity

According to the Mexican site TV Notas, the two allegedly broke up after Shakira found out he had cheated on her.

The site reported that the 24-year-old FC Barcelona football player had been unfaithful to Shakira, 34, with a “much younger” girl.

TV Notas cited a “reliable source” in reporting the story.

However, Shakira indirectly denied these rumors, with a post on Tuesday night on her Twitter account: “Good luck to the Spanish national side and to my number 3, muah @3gerardpique. Shak.”

In addition, Rodrigo Beltrán, Shakira’s press manager in Colombia , told EFE that the rumor about the alleged breakup is “completely false.”

“They are still together and are very well,” he said.
