Sinéad O’Connor tied the knot in Las Vegas in a pink Cadillac

Typical to the city’s tradition, the ceremony was short and celebrated in the strictest privacy.

According to the Daily Mail, the singer married Barry Herridge at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in a ceremony that lasted 15 minutes.

O’Connor arrived around 7 p.m. and filled out paperwork before settling in the pink car in the small chapel on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Dressed in a pink dress that matched Barry’s shirt, the Nothing Compares 2 U singer said “I do” while sitting in the back of a pink Cadillac.

“She wanted to do the whole thing in a Cadillac. That was her thing,” a source told People.

“It wasn’t a traditional dress, but it wasn’t a traditional wedding either. She cried during the vows and had to wipe her eyes.”

After the ceremony, the newlyweds lit candles while employees of the chapel sang “Happy Birthday” to Sinéad.

The honeymoon will have to wait because the singer is due in Dublin on Saturday for a concert organized by Amnesty International.

It is the fourth marriage for Sinead O’Connor, as she was previously married to music producer John Reynolds in 1989, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001, and friend and collaborator Steve Conney in July 2010. She ended her marriage last year. The singer is the mother of four children of previous relationships.
