Taylor Swift surprised by Jake Gyllenhaal’s decision to split

The young woman was very surprised by her boyfriend’s decision.

Gyllenhaal and Swift dated for two months. “Jake just told her it wasn’t working out…Taylor is really upset and hurt. She doesn’t know what she did for him to put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him.”an insider reveals.

The actor was the one who took steps to initiate the relationship. In October, he even asked members of his entourage to set him up on a date with the singer.

This is not the first time Swift is dumped over the phone. Two years ago Joe Jonas also broke her heart with a 27-second call.

The singer isn’t taking the breakup very well. At People’s Choice Awards last week a source says Swift “was not her usual bubbly self. She didn’t eat anything, seemed very sad and definitely wasn’t having a good time.”

At one point, Taylor found Selena Gomez and reportedly said to her: “It’s so good to see you. I need a friend tonight.”
