The divas battle at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards: Lady Gaga vs Katy Perry

As we reported, the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place in Madrid, Spain on Sunday and it will be hosted by actress Eva Longoria.

This year’s awards seem to be the battle of the divas considering the nominations of two singers: Lady Gaga versus Katy Perry.

Both Katy and Gaga battle for four categories: best pop act, best song, best female act and best video.

The host, Eva Longoria, announced that at this event will be so many unexpected moments. From the stars that are set to appear we enumerate Perry, Bon Jovi, Ke$ha, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Shakira.

During an interview, Longoria told Reuters: “I have an intense love of music and have been a host before and my family is from Spain, so it’s a perfect fit in Madrid. I’m excited about it and I love to be challenged in new ways.”
