The British band Led Zeppelin was formed in September 1968 in London.
A sound dominated by guitar riffs, a singer with a powerful high-pitched voice and a heavy rhythm, Led Zeppelin is considered one of the first hard rock bands, and one of the pioneers of heavy metal. Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer John Bonham and bassist John Paul Jones are the member of this legendary group.
Starting with a rock base, styles as diverse as blues, folk, reggae, soul, funk, classical, Celtic, Indian, Arabic and pop music, as well as psychedelic rock or country, have been characteristics of their concerts and their eight albums released between 1969 and 1979.

The albums Led Zeppelin I, II, III and IV were instant successes, staying in the charts for months after their release.
After more than 25 years after the decision to end their musical activity due to the tragic death of John Bonham in 1980, Led Zeppelin continues to be listened to with great pleasure, to sell very well and to exert influence on contemporary rock music. They later called themselves The Pink Floyd Sound, and then simply The Pink Floyd. The origin of the name was formed by two blues singers – Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. The article “the” was dropped by the time their debut album was released.

When the Rolling Stones self-titled the best rock & roll band in the world in the late `60s, they were not modest but definitely not far from reality either – the band had shown that they fully deserved the label. Responding to the British invasion of the Beatles, the Stones had become the pioneers of rock & roll blues, a style which would eventually define the beginning of hard rock.
The Rolling Stones formed in London in 1962 and they’re one of the most popular rock bands of all time, selling over 200 million albums worldwide. They took their name from a Muddy Waters song called “Rollin ‘Stone Blues”.
In June 1964, the band released their first original single – ‘Tell Me (You’re Coming Back)’ – which became their first number one hit on the U.S. charts. It was just the beginning of a career as songwriters for both Jagger and Richards, as they pushed the limits of the origins of blues to a more personal touch.
From playing in sordid taverns and pubs, The Stones became one of the most popular bands, getting to fill entire stadiums and to have a major impact on the music industry.
By his latent ‘evil’, Mick Jagger became the prototype of the rock frontman, with an ironic, detached style, while Keith Richards and Brian Jones laid down the groundwork of guitar rhythmic dialogue.
