Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married this weekend

Singer Lionel Richie has sparked rumors that his daughter Nicole is marrying her fiance, Joel Madden, this weekend at his home in Hollywood.

“Nicole is going for a vintage and romantic vibe,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “The wedding will be true to Nicole’s style.”

Rumors that Nicole Richie had decided to marry in the house of her father were already circulating for a while, but the level of activity growing in the courtyard of the singer suggested that the marriage will take place very soon.

The wedding will be simple and the couple prefers an intimate reception.

“Nicole cut down the guest list because she didn’t want a huge wedding. She didn’t invite a bunch of her celeb friends,” a source revealed. “This has apparently upset a bunch of people.”

The safety level has also been increased in view of the ceremony, as three bodyguards were seen around the property.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been dating for over four years and they have two children together, Harlow, 2, and Sparrow, 1.

Unfortunately for Richie, her best friend, Christina Aguilera, won’t be present at the ceremony, as she is currently busy promoting her new movie, Burlesque.

However, it seems that the popular DJ Samantha Ronson will be one of the bridesmaids.

A source also revealed that Nicole and Joel’s daughter, Harlow, will be the flower girl.
