Paris Hilton was detained Friday at the airport in Corsica, the French authorities discovered in her purse less than one gram of cannabis.
Paris Hilton was controlled off the plane at the airport in Figari, where she came from Paris.
The star was briefly heard in the local office of the gendarmerie and was released shortly after questioning. The french authorities decided not to initiate any legal proceedings against Paris, because the amount of cannabis found was insignificant (less than a gram).
According to local newspaper Corse-Matin, Paris Hilton, “accompanied by some influential people in Malaysia”, traveled to Bonifacio, where she went on board a yacht, to the spa resort of Porto Cervo in Sardinia (Italy).
The American starlet was detained and was later released, in early July, in South Africa during the World Cup around the stadium in Port Elizabeth, after Brazil-Holland match, because she smoked marijuana during that football game.
