On Saturday night, Bono joined a galaxy of stars including Stevie Wonder, Kenny Chesney, Juanes, Usher and Lady Gaga to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bill Clinton’s foundation.

The concert, entitled “A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation”, was held at the Hollywood Bowl near Los Angeles.

The day before, a prestigious dinner was held to celebrate another anniversary: ​​that of Bill Clinton himself, who turned 65 in August.

Ticket for the concert were sold for $50 to $550, and premium seats went for $1,000 to $5,000, with the money entirely donated to the Clinton Foundation.

The William J. Clinton Foundation was created by former President of the United States , Bill Clinton, with a focus on four key areas: health security, economic empowerment, leadership development and services to citizens and ethnic, religious and racial reconciliation.

As Clinton finally took the stage towards the end of the show, he quipped, “First, I have to put on my glasses. There’s got to be someone on stage tonight who’s not cool.”
