Justin Bieber helps Barack Obama keep his promise

The 17-year-old singer has been approached by the President of the United States.

Obama asked Justin to help him keep a promise he made to a 14-year-old girl whose father died in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

At a ceremony, Obama reportedly told the teenager he knew Justin personally and he could arrange a meeting between the girl and her idol. A hasty commitment that made some doubt that the President could keep his word.

According to “sources extremely plugged in to the situation” cited by TMZ, Justin Bieber was delighted with the President’s call and agreed to meet the young girl upon his return to the East Coast of the United States.

For the moment no date has been set. The singer is currently in Asia, as part of his world tour.
