Bride-to-be Kate Middleton is featured on the cover of the new issue of Newsweek magazine.

Newsweek magazine examines Kate Middleton in an article written by Alison Pearson for the publication.

With the subheading under “Kate the Great,” the magazine features a beautiful close-up of the future princess.

Kate, who met her prince charming at St Andrews University, “will be the first royal bride to have a university education, the first to live with her husband before marriage, [and] the first to have a mother who used to be a flight attendant”, the magazine writes.

In addition, the writer believes Catherine Middleton could save the British royal family.

“After the appalling, headline-grabbing dysfunction of [Prince William's] parents’ marriage and divorce, it might also be just what the royal family needs to revive its popularity,” Pearson writes.

Now the countdown has started. Catherine Elizabeth Middleton will marry William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor in Westminster Abbey on April 29.
