Kate Middleton’s parents will spend £ 100,000 on their daughter’s wedding

The bride’s parents will pay for hotel suites, bridal gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, the maid of honor’s outfit and the honeymoon, according to The Sunday Times.

Carole and Michael Middleton will contribute financially to the reception held at Buckingham Palace on the evening of April 29, more specifically to the ball, says the British newspaper.

The Middletons will pay the bill for a luxury hotel accommodation situated close to Buckingham Palace where Kate will spend her last night as a single woman. More hotel rooms are booked at Goring: the Royal Suite, which costs 4,000 pounds a night, for Kate and her sister Philippa, maid of honor, and even more “modest” rooms, which costs a thousand pounds a night, for parents and relatives. The total bill will exceed 20,000 pounds, according to The Sunday Times.

The wedding dress will cost at least 30,000 pounds, while that of Pippa, 20,000 pounds. The bride’s mother’s outfits and those of the bridesmaids, as well as their hairdressing, will be added to the expenses.

After the religious service at Westminster, a cocktail will be hosted by Queen Elizabeth II, William’s grandmother, in the presence of 600 guests. Then, during the evening, also at Buckingham Palace, there will be a dinner, to be attended by 300 guests, followed by dance, paid by the Middletons and Prince Charles.

The total bill for this event will be much higher. The wedding of Prince Charles to Princess Diana in 1981 reportedly cost 30 million pounds (34 million euros), including security services, according to British press.
