Michelle Obama on Extreme Makeover for homeless veterans

The US First Lady is set to make an appearance on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

On Thursday Michelle Obama will be helping with the filming of a television show in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as part of her Joining Forces initiative to help military families.

The episode will feature Barbara Marshall, a 15-year Navy veteran who created The Steps-N-Stages Jubilee House, which offers homeless female vets housing and other support services.

After last month’s taping of a special appearance on iCarly on Nickelodeon, this isn’y Michelle’s first TV stop to promote Joining Forces.

The show is scheduled to air in October.
