Barack Obama refuses to publish photographs of the corpse of Al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, killed in an American operation in Pakistan.

On Wednesday Obama granted an interview to CBS program “60 Minutes” to be broadcast on Sunday.

CBS announced on its website that the president doesn’t intend to release photos of bin Laden to prove his death.

Obama says releasing photos of Osama bin Laden’s body could pose a national security risk to the United States.

The White House announced Monday that they had not yet decided whether to broadcast pictures of Osama bin Laden’s remains. The photos were demanded by members of Congress to serve as evidence for global public opinion.
