Prince William’s bachelor party took place last weekend

No details have emerged about the all-male evening before the royal wedding to take place in a month in London.

“I can confirm that Prince William’s stag party has taken place” is what we got as official word from the princes’ office. Given that it was “an entirely private event,” there was no further comment.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the evening took place last weekend at the private property of a friend outside of London. The party gathered a number of the prince’s relatives, most of them childhood friends.

Prince Harry, William’s younger brother, initially organized a weekend of water activities, one of William’s hobbies, in Devon, but the project was canceled after leaks in the press. Journalists had started to gather along the River Exe in Devon, in the hope of seeing the prince.

Prince William thus remained in the footsteps of his father, Prince Charles, who ended his bachelor life in a private club in London.

Prince William is set to marry girlfriend Kate Middleton next April 29 in Westminster Abbey.
