Russian President Dmitry Medvedev wiggles on “American Boy” – video
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is currently a sensation on the Internet due to footage showing the politician pulling some very stylish dance steps to a dance-pop hit.
Dmitry Medvedev is not so cold and distant as he appears to be. The Russian president was filmed while dancing to the 90s hit “American Boy”.
The images were shot last year at a university reunion. Medvedev, in a grey suit, on the right of the video, can be seen rocking some dance moves to the tunes of the single.
Posted on YouTube on Wednesday, the clip instantly went viral on the net, especially in the former Soviet Union, where all the TV channels have broadcast the sequence.
The song tells the story of a young Russian girl, who hopes that an “American Boy” will take her away from Russia. The bilingual song, performed by the female group Kombinaciya, is sung in Russian for the most part, and in English only for the chorus.
