Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster will be parents again

According to recent report Rod Stewart, 65, and his wife Penny Lancaster, 39, will be parents.

The couple is extremely excited about this news especially because is due before Penny’s 40th birthday. “We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy’s 40th birthday,” the couple said.

The two got married in 2007 in Portofino, Italy and have a 4-year-old son, Alastair. The singer, Stewart, has other five kids from past relationships including also son Alastair with his current wife Penny.

Even if the couple doesn’t know the sex of the upcoming baby, they still want to give him/her some soccer lessons.

“I did take [Alastair] out on the football field the other day,” he told the British talk show GMTV in November. “I said, ‘Come on, let’s get running out there,’ and he went, ‘Oh, there’s some flowers for mummy – must collect them.’ He spent about two hours collecting flowers in a basket for his mum!”
