American rapper Snoop Dogg wanted to engage the entire population of Liechtenstein to make extras in his latest video.
Hip-hop star turned to officials of this small European country, situated on the border between Switzerland and Austria – which has an area of 160 square kilometers and a population of 35,000 people – asking them permission to shoot a video in Liechtenstein.
But the two sides have not reached a settlement because officials in that country said they do not have enough time to arrange all necessary details, according to British publication the Daily Mirror.
Karl Schwaerzler, an official of Liechtenstein, told the British daily: “We received calls for rental of palaces or even whole villages, but nobody contacted us so far to hire the entire country. It would have been possible, but Snoop Dogg’s management team gave us too little time”.
