Media reports say soccer star David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were involved in a car accident on an LA freeway.

The California Highway Patrol said Saturday that Beckham’s Cadillac hit a Mitsubishi stalled in the carpool lane of the 405 Freeway in Torrance.

TMZ reports that while Beckham, 36, wasn’t injured, the driver of the other car had to be taken to a local hospital.

The footballer didn’t need medical attention but the driver of the Mitsubishi complained of minor neck pain.

Sources close to the player say Beckham’s 12-year-old son Brooklyn was also in the car but was uninjured.

Beckham was not arrested or cited on the scene.
