Since they live in Los Angeles throughout the year, David and Victoria Beckham rarely have the opportunity to spend time with their families settled in the UK.

But this holiday season, the couple took the opportunity to return to their native country and spend a few moments with family members.

However, he decided to make a nice surprise for his sister, Joanne. He went to a Japanese restaurant, The Roka, in London on December 28 along with Victoria Beckham to organize a dinner with his family.

The surprise was complete for Joanne, who was quick to use her Twitter account to express her excitement.

“Aww turned up at my fav restaurant and can’t believe my close friends and family was here !!!! Amazin !!! So happy,” she wrote.

She later tweeted: “My bday is feb 19th and I will b 30 but we celerbrated early jus in case my big bro wasn’t here !! Had a amazin nite.”

For his part, David took to his facebook account to share a photo of the group as he posed with Victoria, his two sisters, Joanne and Lynne and other friends.

“Merry Xmas everyone….just at my little sister Jo’s birthday party tonight,” he wrote.
