Kris Humphries dodges Kim Kardashian questions on Good Morning America

Humphries sat down with Josh Elliott for a Friday interview on Good Morning America. Apparently, Kris didn’t feel very comfortable answering questions about his ex-wife.

Humphries, who was on the show with his mother Debra, kept bringing the subject back to basketball and charities while deflecting the personal questions.

“For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward,” he said. “Through everything I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball has always been something I’ve taken really serious and I continue to do that and I’m just moving forward.”

Elliott was not going to let this go, asking Humphries whether the cameras contributed to the demise of this relationship.

“I can’t say for sure or not for sure. It’s the only time I’ve been married. Life is more about how you can help other people and making the most out of your platform,” he said.

Asked by the host if it was tough for him to watch himself on the reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York , he said: “The only things I watch of myself on TV are me playing basketball. I have never really been someone to watch the show, on TV, or anything like that.”

His mother added: “The important thing is that we stay close as a family – it’s our faith in God that carries us through all of these times. We have so much to be thankful for right now. We’re looking forward not backward.”

According to TMZ, Humphries found the questioning intrusive as he later told pals that he felt “ambushed.”
