The future ex-husband of Kim Kardashian decided to stay with the Nets, reports announced Wednesday.
The 26-year-old faced public embarrassment after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage.
But now he can smile again the the 6-ft.-9-in. power forward joins the Nets again.
Humphries, who was the fifth best rebounder in the last season of NBA, Kris averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Nets last season.
According to Sports Illustrated, the contract is only for one year for a total of $ 8 million.
During an appearance on Good Morning America earlier this month, Humphries said that he’s trying to move on with his life.
“Through everything, I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball,” he said. “For me, it’s just, certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward. I’m excited to be where I’m at right now, with the NBA season coming up.”
