“Macho Man” Randy Savage dies in Florida car crash

Famous wrestler “Macho Man” Randy Savage died on Friday morning as a result of a car accident in Tampa Bay, Florida.

According to TMZ, the 58-year-old athlete reportedly lost control of his Jeep Wrangler after a heart attack.

His vehicle left the track and crashed in a tree on the opposite side of the road. Savage died a few minutes after his arrival at the hospital. His wife Lynn, who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered only minor injuries.

Randy Savage, who was born Randall Mario Poffo, made his debut in 1985. He quickly became a superstar, winning spectacular battles against some of the biggest names in the industry like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.

Known for his catchphrase “Ooh yeah!”, he has long been one of the most flamboyant characters in professional wrestling.
