Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley attacked in a bar in Japan

According to recent reports, Sum 41’s frontman Deryck Whibley is currently hospitalized after he had been attacked by 3 unknown suspects in a bar in Japan.

The news was revealed on the band’s twitter account writing that: “Deryck Whibley was attacked in a bar last night by 3 unknown people. He is in the hospital now. Japanese police are looking into the matter.”

After a while, the status was updated. “It is unfortunate to say, but Deryck Whibley is still in the hospital. He was attacked late last night in Japan. We are waiting for results and we are hoping for the best. Thanks for your support.”
