As we previously reported, singer Wyclef Jean announced his wish to candidate for the presidency of Haiti.

Nevertheless, he hadn’t been considered eligible due to fact he didn’t meet the residency requirements: to live in Haiti for five straight years before the election.

Moreover, an official revealed: “He is not on the list as I speak”.

It seems that the election for Haiti presidency is set to 28 November and for the moment a total of 15 candidates were rejected and other 19 were approved.

Until now, there weren’t any comments on this matter from the singer.
