An IPad 3 in September 2011?

Rumors of an iPad 3 release in September 2011 during the annual renewal of the range of iPods are circulating. It was John Gruber of Daring Fireball who made this analysis based on several considerations.

The basic idea is that the next iPad, as it had initially been projected, isn’t ready for launch in the first half of 2011.

The iPad 3 would be launched in September 2011 along with the new iPods including the new iPod Touch with IOS 5.1. It would not be a completely different version from the iPad 2 but it would include a version with a Display Retina type of HD screen.

As for the iPad 2, it should come out in the following weeks and is said to be thinner and more powerful (more RAM and a CPU A5 probably a dual core with two Cortex A9), and also has two cameras (front and back).

It’s just speculation but it’s worth thinking of.
