Latest reports talk about a possible change of “style” for Appl’s iMac: the possibility of featuring anti-reflective displays.

According to DigiTimes, the revamped line of 2012 iMacs will be noticeably slimmer than current models, but may it will also be the company’s first desktops that sport anti-reflective displays.

The supplier G-Tech Optoelectronics is reportedly increasing its production of glass display covers for the iPad from 1.8 million to 3 million units per quarter, but above all, it may also supply anti-reflective panels for the iMacs.

The site wrote that “G-Tech is also expected to supply AR (anti-reflective) glass solutions for Apple’s all-in-one (AIO) PCs with the new products to also serve as a growth driver for G-Tech.”

A refreshed version of the iMac is expected to arrive soon as Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors become available later this month.

The last time the iMac was updated was back in May of 2011. The device is expected to arrive during the second half of 2012.
