Apple introduces Facebook integration for iOS 6 at WWDC 2012

According to previous reports, Facebook integration was unveiled at the WWDC on Monday.

The feature was made available in iOS 6 through a system-wide Setting pane.

The App Store will display recommendations for applications based on those used by our friends on Facebook.

In addition, with the help of Siri, users will be able to change their Facebook status.

Smart Banner is a new notification system that directs users to the App Store to download applications that they don’t have in their devices.

Similar to Twitter, the Facebook integrations is built directly into the Notification Center with “Tap to tweet” and “Tap to Post” buttons.
