The Apple stores will close on Wednesday morning, so that employees can watch a webcast honoring Steve Jobs.

This measure concerns a priori all the Apple Store in the world. Employees in other stores around the world will be entitled to watch a re-broadcast of the memorial.

The event is also accompanied by the closure of the online Apple Store.

The service will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST at the outdoor amphitheater at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, according to Reuters.
