Apple is reportedly in talks with HBO to bring the streaming service to their set-top box.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is currently in negotiations with Time Warner, which owns HBO, to implement the application HBO Go in the Apple TV in mid-2013.

HBO Go service is already available to subscribers on iPhone and iPad via an application available on the App Store, but also on competing platforms like Xbox, Roku, Samsung TVs and Android devices.

The arrival of the service that includes over 600 hours of movies would be a great launching pad to continue to sell more Apple TVs.

A few days ago, Apple announced it had sold 2 million Apple TVs in the last quarter of 2012.
