Third-party resellers are running out of 15-inch MacBook Pros, which could mean that redesigned models are to arrive in the near future.
AppleInsider reports that many major resellers no longer have such devices in stock, nor are they willing to deliver new orders for these models.
As history shows, this could be the first sign of a range renewal.
Recent reports also add to the credibility of this rumor, given the availability of Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 Ivy Bridge processors no later than this month.
In addition, production is rumored to begin with 15-inch MacBook Pros in April, followed by 13-inch models in June.
However, the period between the first stock-outs and the actual arrival of the new models is usually measured in terms of weeks.
Analysts speculate that only the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros are likely to feature a redesign, while the 17-inch version will maintain its current characteristics.
