BlackBerry Z10 release date in March in the US on major carriers

BlackBerry, formerly known as Research in Motion, unveiled its new BlackBerry 10 smartphones at a press event in New York City today.

According to BGR, the BlackBerry Z10 will be launched on U.S. carriers in March.

The United Kingdom will see the launch of the device first, on January 31st, followed by Canada on February 5th and the United Arab Emirates with a February 10th launch date.

All four major US carriers, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile will get the new BlackBerry Z10 when it hits the market in March.

Verizon will offer the handset for $199 on a new two-year agreement or $599 without contract.

Pricing for the BlackBerry Q10 has yet to be announced. The device is expected to be available to consumers by April.
