The highly anticipated successor to the Canon 5D DSLR could be announced next week either on the 27th or 28th of February.
According to Canon Rumors, the model will feature a 22 megapixel sensor and a 61 point auto-focus system.
The device will also be equipped with a 100% VF, a 3.2” LCD display and slots for both CF/SD cards.
Its official name is also under speculation. While some expect it to be named 5D MK III, the title 5D X is also mentioned, similar to the 1D X.
The site writes that the asking price will be “around $3,500,” which is a leap from the current 5D Mark II.
