Apple’s recently released iOS 5.1 beta 3 has revealed references to Siri.

According to 9to5Mac, the iOS 5.1 beta 3 makes references to Siri Dictation, suggesting that the personal assistant could make its way to the iPad and the iPod touch.

The hint appears in the Keyboard section of the Settings app where users can access a link to “DICTATION LINK TEXT.” The link contains the standard legal literature and information for Siri Dictation.

This has prompted speculation that Siri could launch on the next-generation models, the iPad 3 and the iPod touch 5.

Siri debuted in October with the release of the iPhone 4S.
