iOS 5 integration leads to boost in Twitter, Wolfram Alpha

Apple’s iOS 5 has greatly impacted its integration partners, with Twitter observing an increase in monthly signups by 25 percent globally.

In addition, Wolfram Alpha has seen its business multiplied in the first week since the launch of the iPhone 4S.

Wolfram Research executive director Luc Barthelet told Technology Review has noted that Siri’s heavy reliance on the company’s search facilities has boosted its volume 20 fold.

Twitter is known to be deeply implemented within iOS 5, having reached 100 million mobile users per month in September.

Last month, Twitter reported that 39% of the shared photos came from iOS users and obviously the integration of the service in the Photos app helped a lot.

Same side of Wolfram Alpha search engine has seen its business multiplied by 20 the first week of launch of the iPhone 4S. In the U.S., Siri allows queries on this service …
