Speculation about Apple’s next generation of iDevices is rife as always.
iPad 3 rumors
As far as the iPad is concerned, the tablet is rumored to come with an A6 processor which will be a more powerful dual-core processor than the quad-core.
Another highly anticipated characteristic of the tablet will be the new “retina” display which might run at a 2048×1536 resolution, meaning almost double of what the current iPad offers.
Tablet-sized QXGA-resolution (2048×1536 pixels) touchscreen panels with a pixel density of 264ppi are currently in production.
In addition, Siri, the iPhone 4S voice assistant could be a part of the new iPad, as well as 4G LTE technology and a larger battery.
According to Zdnet, Apple’s competitors are shipping tablets featuring 3MP and 5MP camera. As a consequence there is pressure for the company to improve its products in this field since the iPad 2 uses a VGA camera on the front and a “HD” camera capable of filming 720p video 1 MP in the rear.
Rumors say that the future iPad 3 will likely come out next year, probably in March.
iPhone 5 rumors
Reports say that Apple has begun tests on high resolution screens and the next iPhone is expected to have 720p HD display with a resolution of 1280×720.
In addition, Apple is now searching for experienced IOS software engineers to work on the implementation of the user interface for Siri in an attempt to better the voice assistant on the next-generation iPhone.
