iPad Mini chosen as official name, iPod nano to come with WiFi connectivity

Rumors surrounding Apple’s upcoming device are rife.

According to sources cited by Japanese blog Macotakara, Apple’s 7.85-inch iPad will officially take its rumored “iPad Mini” name at its launch.

The site also writes that the device will feature the familiar iPad logo on the back.

This mini tablet is expected to be launched in October, a month after the launch of the iPhone 5.

The report also claimed that that the new iPod nano will get a refresh this year.

The handset is rumored to feature WiFi connectivity and support iTunes Music Cloud.

Last month, the Japanese site reported that the future iPod nano could look like a small iPhone, with a rectangular touchscreen and a home button.
