A leaked picture of one of the device’s components has surfaced online.

French site Nowhereelse.fr has posted a new photo of what appears to be a flex cable for the iPad mini.

The image includes a smaller dock connector, the headphone jack, and the home button connector.

The site writes that Kyle Wiens of iFixit believes that it is indeed an Apple component but he can’t confirm its authenticity.

The report also notes that the component slightly resembles the same part that is rumored to be featured in the next iPhone.

Although in the picture the headphone jack is located near the dock connector, rumors have so far stated that the part will be placed at the top edge of the device.
