Apple’s iPad Mini media event will focus on its e-reading capabilities, a report says.
Citing “multiple sources,” The Next Web reports that the event will concentrate mainly on iBooks as the company gears up for competitions from other devices on the market, such as Amazon’s Kindle Fire or Google’s Nexus 7.
Apple is rumored to unveil the iPad Mini at an event on Oct. 23.
The mini tablet is expected to come with a 7.85-inch screen and Apple’s new Lightning connector.
Japanese blog Macotakara recently reported that production of the device’s case has been stopped due to a design change.
