iPad Mini release date on November 2, according to rumors

Apple has reportedly planned a media event for next week.

A recent report stated that Apple has issued invitations for a press event to be held on October 23.

According to the tech blog Geeky Gadgets who cites a retail insider, the rumored iPad Mini will be unveiled on Nov. 2 in both the US and the UK.

The site writes that pre-orders are set to begin on October 26.

In addition, 9to5Mac tweeted today that it has “heard whispers” of a November 2 launch.

The mini tablet is rumored to come with a 7.85 inch touchscreen display and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The rumored starting price will be in the $250 to $300 price range.

Besides the iPad Mini, a 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro, updated iMacs and updated Mac minis are all rumored to be presented at the October 23rd Apple media event.
