Soon after the iPhone 5 was released users complained about a “purple haze” that kept appearing in their photos.

When the device is pointed towards the sun or bright lights, a purple flare shows up in the part where light is present.

Apple posted a support article on its website, advising users to reposition their camera when taking pictures.

But this hasn’t satisfied owners of the new iPhone.

Now an application called Camera Fix that promises to solve this problem has appeared in the App Store.

Camera Fix uses a filter, depurple, to eliminate that effect purple and improve the picture.

The app can be downloaded for $ 0.99 and an estimated file size of 1.48 MB.
