Because this week marks three years since Angry Birds appeared, its creators thought it was time for a major update of the Finnish hit game.

The big news of the Angry Birds 3.0 is that the game has been adapted for the larger screen on the iPhone 5 and 5-generation iPod Touch.

In addition, 30 additional levels and a brand new pink bird that can lift objects with bubbles are included in the update.

In addition, Rovio has also used the announcement of the update of Angry Birds to unveil plans to bring its famous characters to the big screen.

David Maise, former president of Marvel Studios and executive producer of Iron Man, will be executive producer of the feature film, which is expected for release in the summer of 2016.

The app is available for both iPhone and iPad in the App Store.

The update is free for those who have already purchased it. Those that have not tried Angry Birds can buy it for € 0.89.
