Apple is gearing up for a monster holiday season with a total of 8 new products reportedly set to go on sale, including a new iPhone, a smaller iPad, new iPods and updated Macs.

Reports state that 8 new products are prepared for release by Apple ahead of the holiday season.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, with KGI Securities, has published what he believes will be Cupertino’s launch schedule for the fourth quarter of 2012.

The analyst speculates that the products set for release include the iPhone 5, the iPad Mini, new iPod’s, MacBook Pro and iMac.

Kuo believes the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and 21.5-inch iMac will be launched first, followed by the iPhone 5 and new iPod touch.

In October we’re likely to get the rumored iPad Mini, a “modified new iPad,” a new iPod Nano and 27-inch iMac.

Kuo expects the “new iPad” to be quite similar to the current model, except the new 9-pin dock connector.

New panel tech and design will likely be featured in the new iPod touch and iPod nano, according to the analyst.

As for the iPhone 5, Kuo said that the in-cell touch panels that are expected to be used for the device haven’t posed any problem to production.
