iPhone 5 is the most anticipated gadget of 2012, according to poll

A poll by SodaHead, an online community, has revealed that Apple’s handset is the “Most Anticipated Tech Product of 2012.″

The iPhone 5 topped the list with 35% of the vote, followed by the iPad 3 (20%), Google tablet (16%), the PlayStation Vita (12%), Wii U (11%) and the Kindle Fire 2 (7%).

In the poll attracted 513 responses.

The iPhone 5 is expected to be released this year but the date is still uncertain, with analysts speculating that the gadget will likely arrive in the fall.

As for the iPad 3, Apple is reportedly pushing to offer it on February 24, the day that Steve Jobs would have celebrated his 57th birthday.
