Owners of the white iPhone 5 have reportedly complained about light leaking from the edges of the device.

The main complaint concerns a light leakage that takes place between the phone’s glass display and aluminum antenna.

It’s uncertain at this point if the issue is an isolated one that affects only some iPhone 5 models or if it’s actually a widespread defect.

A photo taken by BGR to one of their own iPhone 5 units reveals a small crack located just below the power button.

Up to this point it isn’t certain whether the issue is characteristic only to some units or if it’s a widespread defect.

The site writes that members of the MacRumors forums have complained about the same problem and some of them received new units as replacements from Apple Stores.
